We also have highly magnifying microscopes in our practice, which take patient care to an even greater level of precision. Like ophthalmologists who use microscopes, they enable us to do extremely accurate dental restorations. Dentistry’s fine nature, similar to micro-surgery, demands such precision beyond human vision.

In addition to enabling closer and more precise work, such microscopes also eliminate glare by projecting focused light onto the teeth.

Even while most dentists employ air-powered “hand-pieces” or drills, we take an extra step and use electrical hand-pieces for our most complicated restorations. This allows for extremely accurate interfaces of your natural tooth and any new dentistry, and offers comfort and precision. Electric hand-pieces also remove vibration and noise for increased comfort.

Digital Imaging

Pictures prove priceless in diagnosis, treatment, and oral health maintenance. With modern imaging equipment, exposure time is minimized significantly from traditional radiographs, decreasing radiation while allowing for better diagnostic precision. Digital pictures are also easy to send to specialists and insurance companies.

Cone Beam CT Scanner

We’re pleased to introduce our technology upgrade, our Cone Beam CT scanner, a technology which provides us with three-dimensional X-rays of your jaw and mouth. This technology greatly increases the success of almost all treatments by providing us with accurate in-house information. From planning implants to surgery for wisdom teeth to fracture diagnosis for your teeth, this scanner brings our dental care to an entirely different level.

Soft Tissue Laser Therapy

Octagon Dentistry harnesses soft tissue laser technology. Its technology enables our dentists to perform various dental procedures easily and effectively. And because photographs can be stored permanently, we can also send them to consultants, labs, and insurance providers.
